The previous report 5 already shared with you all and this time as stated above “祸不单行!”
The following week we parent received a message from my elder daughter school headmistress saying that my daughter’s class monitor is positive covid. The message came to us at night time Monday and that week I am on shift to go in the office. So in such a short time I and my wife have to notify our office HR and bosses also have to hand over our next day office task to our colleague.
At the same time, we also have to search and locate which clinic nearby our area have covid swab test and we have found 1 clinic nearby. And we still discuss who going to do the swab test because it cost a few hundred ringgit if all family members do the test. I told my wife that we should get everyone to do the test to ease our mind else we will not have peace of mind and also we can take action according to the result.
So my wife took my both daughter and mother-in-law to the clinic for a swab test while I wait at home to look after my son. Once they have done the test my wife came back to drop off my daughters and mother in law. Then I go out with her to do my swab test. The whole process was smooth as silk and everyone remain as usual. After half an hour we got our result that all of us are negative.
Both of us scanned the result and report it back to our respective company HR and bosses. In the evening my wife received a message from my elder daughter’s headmistress saying that the next day needs to go to KKM for a thorough swab test(throat) then get the pink strap with a letter and quarantine at home.
The KKM result available after 3 days and it was negative and we have to go back there to remove the pink strap and a letter of release from quarantine.
In this incident some parent is nervous, lost direction (don’t know what to do), angry (due to fork out money to do the test at the private clinic) and also some as usual :).
The whole incident I can see clearly and what needs to be done and what is not also able to plan ahead to overcome the obstacle.
Now everyone back to our normal routine. Life is really interesting and roller-coaster. It is never-ending lessons in many forms to lead us to get enlightenment.
